Remove a small metal cube from your pocket, place it on the table and rub it in a circular motion. When you lift your hand, the cube will have changed into a brilliant steel ball. The ball is now pressed against the table with your hand, flattening it out into a smooth metal disc. The disc is again pressed under your hand, this time the disc turns into a gleaming half dollar. Each change looks absolutely impossible. It is as if your hands have actually become a magical mint. The plot was developed by Alan Wakeling. The Street Magician's Con Game with a Coin

A spectator places a quarter on a stand and places a cover over it. The magician slowly removes the cover and shows the coin has completely vanished. The spectator quickly believes the magician has secretly hidden the coin with his hand. But, when the magician opens his hand, the quarter is nowhere to be found. The spectator picks up the stand where the quarter was first placed and hears a rattle from within the stand. Upon opening the stand the spectator finds a metal disc marked "Thanks for the Quarter".
