The Perfect Effect for the Kid's Show Circuit!

What's My Job is a wonderful effect for children. They have the opportunity to see men and women in different jobs. You display a picture book of people in different jobs - a doctor, chef, plumber, police officer, welder, fire fighter, artist, farmer, etc. A spectator from the audience "freely" selects one picture in the book. Everyone sees the selected picture is a fire fighter.

A prediction envelope - in full view the entire time - is now opened. The performer reaches inside the envelope and removes the prediction picture as he proudly states, "And here is my prediction, the fire fighter ... when he was just a baby!" The performer removes a picture of an infant in a baby bonnet! Trust me, the audience will groan and laugh at the sight of the baby. But, you are not done yet. You have just set them up for the finale!

You continue by saying, "Well, he know from the very beginning what he wanted to be when he grew up, and of course he decided to become ... a fire fighter." The picture of the baby is turned around, now revealing the spectator's choice, the fire fighter. Your prediction matches exactly the freely selected picture from the book!

Aldini Bowl Production

A Bowl of Water and "Dry" Silk Handkerchiefs Appear from Nowhere

The Aldini Bowl Production is an amazing piece of apparatus that will absolutely stun your audience.

The magician shows the audience a platform supported off of the table top by three legs. There is absolutely nothing below the platform. A large cloth covers the platform. Resting on the cloth is a colorful box. The magician picks up the platform and removes the box. There is nothing inside the box or on top of the cloth. The magician replaces the box on the platform, reaches inside the box and pulls the cloth up through the box, while placing the platform back on the table top. Again, the box has been proven empty. There was nothing seen on top of the platform when the box was replaced and there is still nothing underneath. The magician reaches inside the box and removes silk handkerchiefs. Finally, the box is removed and resting on the platform is a bowl of water, the size of the box. WOW!

Think about this. The audience saw underneath, on top of, and inside everything. Yet, silk handkerchiefs and a bowl the size of the box was produced. Trust me folks, your audience will give you a huge round of applause for this one.

If you don't want to produce water - hey, no problem. You can produce ribbons, rope, strings of beads, greater volumes of silk handkerchiefs, silk streamers, a silk flag, etc.
