A quality set of affordable Mismade Thank You Silks have long been off the market. Finally, they are back, and even better than ever. The effect is simple. As you close your show with a a few simple words about how wonderful the audience was today, you place a 12 inch yellow silk handkerchief and a 12 inch black handkerchief in a small cloth bag. As you say the warm words, "Thank You for for being a wonderful audience" , you open the bag and produce an 18 inch yellow and black silk handkerchief that says "Thank You". Well, actually it only sort of says "Thank You". Because no matter how you hold the silk, the letters aren't exactly as they should be. You see, some of the letters are backwards. So, being the observant entertainer that you are, you reverse the silk handkerchief from left to right. Now, those letters that were backwards are OK, but some of the other letters are still backwards and a few of the other letters now appear to be upside down. So, as quick witted and alert as you are, you turn the silk handkerchief upside down. But, it's still not right. Finally, you place the mismade silk handkerchief back in the empty bag, wave you hand over it and remove the silk handkerchief again. Only this time when you open it up, it now says "Thank You" correctly. And oh ya, the small cloth bag is still empty. You WILL receive a wonderful round of applause from the audience. And they will be guaranteed to remember your wonderful and funny closing act.

The effect is clean and simple. The spectator thinks of a color. You attempt to read their mind and write your prediction in the lower left panel. The prediction is hidden from view with a wooden cover. The spectator names the color he was thinking of. That color is then written in the panel directly above your prediction. That process is used again, perhaps with a number. In our photo above we chose 7623. Lastly, a world city may be chosen by the spectator and the performer again attempts to correctly devine the thought. As the covers are removed, the audience is amazed as the predictions match exactly those of the spectator.
