We have finally found an egg that actually looks like the real thing. Check out this unaltered photograph. Scary isn't it. One of these eggs came directly from the grocery store yesterday afternoon. The other is man made from a plastic material that looks and feels like it should go into your next omelet, although we don't recommend it. There are no tell-tale seams, the color is amazing, the texture is perfect and the size is just right. This means, you can finally perform the Silk to Egg effect with confidence.

The effect is simple, but very charming. A yellow silk handkerchief is shown and slowly placed into your closed hand. When your hand is opened, the silk handkerchief has vanished and in its place is an egg.
