Coin Squeeze

Solid Coins Pass Through Solid Brass

Are you looking for an incredibly strong piece of close-up magic that you can quickly add to your walk around show repertoire? If so, then look no further and let me introduce Coin Squeeze!

Effect: Two brass rings and a solid brass disc are placed on the table. The audience may examine them if they wish. The brass disc is placed into one of the rings and the other ring snapped into place on top. The disc is now secured between the rings.

Four U.S. quarters are are placed into the top most ring. Nothing happens, obviously. The coins can not fall through the bottom, because the solid brass disc is in their path. The quarters are dumped out and again they are placed into the top ring. This time, one of the quarters actually drops from the bottom ring on to the table. The three remaining quarters are dumped out proving that only three coins remain and one actually has passed through the solid brass disc.

Again, the three coins are placed back into the top ring and once more, one coin drops from the bottom ring to the table. Two coins are left in the top. This is repeated a third time with the coin dropping from the bottom into the spectators hand. The rings / disc assembly is placed on the table. Lastly, the fourth coin magically vanishes from the magician's hand and is found under the rings and disc assembly.

Coin Squeeze is absolutely stunning, yet is easy to learn and simple to perform. Remember, the rings and disc are examined before the effect. This is a great walk-around effect because it fits into your pocket and you can even use borrowed quarters.
